Like a snowflake, all snow globes are unique! Inside a snow globe, you usually see a miniature scene, often depicting a winter landscape, a landmark, or some other picturesque setting.

This year, why not infuse your holiday decor with a touch of your own personal style? Whether you're crafting alone, with friends and family, or even turning it into a cozy crafting party, let's dive into the art of DIY Christmas snow globes together.

In this blog, I will show you How To DIY Christmas Snow Globes using green bottle brushes to create a snowy winter scene!

For this project, I start with 3 clear glass pickle jar holders in different sizes.

First, I removed the lids and painted them black.

I used a STAALMEESTER Painted Sash Brush and Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Coal Black.

Next, I used a can of textured snow spray to give the glass jars a frosted look.

I held the can a little bit away from the opening of the glass jar and lightly coated the inside.

In the below image, you can see a good example of how the jars should look after you use the textured snow spray.

Next, I used 3 green bottle brush trees in varying sizes to add a festive look to these snow globes.

Using a hot glue gun, I put glue on the base of each tree.

Then I set the trees inside the middle of the glass jars.

Next, I poured fake textured snow into each jar.

I added enough fake snow to fill the base about an inch up the side.

I used two different types of fake textured snow. The below option gave the look of mini snowballs, which I thought was pretty cool!

And that’s it! How easy was that?
