To begin, gather the lid of your cookie tin and a small spindle to be used to create your riser.
Next, using a hot glue gun, apply glue to one side of the spindle.
Then, adhere the spindle to the top of the cookie tin lid.
Make sure the lip of the tin is on the opposite side of the spindle.
Next, using a STAALMEESTER Pointed Sash Brush, paint the entire cookie tin lid and the spindle.
For this example, I am using Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Manor Green.
Once the paint is dry, use a STAALMEESTER Round Wax Brush to apply Dixie Belle White Wax to the entire riser.
Lastly, take a dry paper towel and white the excess white wax off of the riser. And that’s it - I told you it was quick and easy!
This riser is a great addition to your home decor.
You could also create multiple risers and create a tabelscape for the holidays!
