Small details can make a big impact in home decor, and this thrifted mini frame from Goodwill is a perfect example. With just a bit of paint and an IOD transfer, I turned this simple round frame from trash to treasure!

In this blog, I share a Goodwill Thrift Store DIY Project idea!

Below is a list of the items you will need to recreate this project:

I found this vintage gold circular frame from the Goodwill bins!

These are actually hard to find so I knew I had to purchase it.

First, I used Fusion All-In-One Paint in the color Ash and a STAALMEESTER Pointed Sash Brush to paint the gold part of the frame.

Then, I used a wet wipe to lightly wipe away some of the paint so that the gold can peak through.

This technique will give your frame a high-end look!

Next, I grabbed a piece of handmade paper to use as the background in my picture frame.

First, I pulled the glass out of the frame and traced it onto the paper.

Then, I used my craft scissors to cut out the traced circle.

Once I had my circular piece of paper, I grabbed the IOD Transfer collection Fronds Botanical.

This collection comes with 4 full pages of beautiful greenery images.

I chose the image I wanted to use for this project and cut it out.

Then, I removed the white backing and placed the image onto the paper.

Next, I used my transfer tool to press the image into the paper.

And lastly, I slowly peeled up the transfer paper to show the final product.

How cute is that? I love it!

Then, I placed my new art into the frame and staged it on my front table. I loved how this all came together!

Optional: tie a piece of jute twine to the back of your frame and hang it up!
