I thrifted this beautiful enamel teapot from the thrift store, but unfortunately, the handle was burnt. With a little bit of paint and wax, I was able to bring this beautiful vintage teapot back to life.

This DIY technique can be used on so many different thrifted items. A little bit of paint and sealer goes a long way on aged items. I bet if you looked around your house right now you could find items that need a little bit of life brought back into them. All you need is just a few products and 20 minutes of your time - SO easy!

In this blog, I will show you How To Thrift Flip A Vintage Enamel Teapot!

Below is a list of the items you will need to recreate this project:

I found this beautiful enamel teapot but unfortunately the handle was burnt.

I knew I could easily fix that so I brought it home and got started!

I used a STAALMEESTER Artist Round Brush and Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in the color English Ivy to paint the handle. The green color goes perfectly with the florals on this teapot.

Once I painted the handle, I realized the knob on top needed to be painted as well.

I liked the solid color of the green so I decided not to distress it.

To seal the paint, I applied 1 coat of Dixie Belle Clear Coat Flat to the painted areas.

Once the clear coat dried, it was ready to style in my home!

I told you this project was quick and easy! I love how this teapot stands out so much more with the added color.
