For this project, I decided to repurpose some items from my collection to transform ordinary candle holders into something truly extraordinary! This project can easily be recreated with so many different vintage Christmas decorations. With a touch of paint and a dash of creativity, you can breathe fresh life into affordable antique treasures discovered at your thrift store!

Thrifted Ornate Candle Holders
Glass Cloche
Wood Rounds
Gorilla Glue
Fusion Mineral Paint - Wellington*
STAALMEESTER Pointed Sash Brush*

I thrifted these two candle holders and while the style is okay I felt like they needed to be painted to give them a little more life!

I purchased these wood rounds at Hobby Lobby to glue them to the top of the candle holder.

Then, I knew I wanted to set a glass cloche on top to complete the overall look!

I applied Gorilla Glue to the top of the candle holders so that I could glue the wood round to the top.

Then, I grabbed Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Wellington because this color is absolutely gorgeous!

I used my STAALMEESTER Pointed Sash Brush to paint both candle holders with 2 coats of paint.

Once the paint dried, I styled these adorable white ceramic deer and placed them on top under the glass cloche.

This is such an easy thrift flip - just a little paint and they’re good as new! What do you think?
