Christmas DIY Crafts: How To Create Unique Stamped Tea Towels for the Holiday Season

For this project, I created a super easy Christmas-themed DIY using tea towels and the IOD Stamps - Cozy Collection!
First, I started with a fresh tea towel. If your tea towel is wrinkled, use an iron to flatten it out before stamping.
Next, I picked two reindeer stamps from the collection and placed them on the tea towel where I wanted them to be stamped.
If you look closely, you can see that these stamps have a unique pattern that is made to look like a cross-stitch when stamped. It is beautiful and perfect for cozy Christmas style decorations.
At this time, I still have this stamp available on my website!
Then, I pressed my thin mount into the stamps so that they adhered to it and flipped the thin mount back over.
Next, I inked up my stamp with IOD Tomato Ink.
Then, I flipped my thin mount back over in the exact spot I want my stamp to be transferred.
I pressed my hands firmly on top of the thin mount so that the stamp transferred evenly.
Then, I removed the thin mount and this is how it looks once it transfers! How cute is that?
I decided to add a touch of whimsy into my design with some little red heart stamps!
First, I removed the reindeer stamps from the thin mount.
Then, I inked up my heart stamp again and firmly imprinted it onto the tea towel.
Feel free to repeat this process as many times as you desire with your chosen stamps. Let your creativity flow!
Lastly, I used an iron to heat set my ink. This process will make sure that when I wash and dry my tea towels - the ink remains in tact on the tea towel.
These DIY stamped tea towels are perfect for adding a festive touch to your home decor or for gifting to loved ones during the holiday season.
